About The Role

DAS UK Group, a market leading insurance and legal services provider, has an exciting fixed-term contract opportunity for a Technical Claims Consultant to join our Client Services Department.

This position would ideally suit somebody with a professional claims expertise gained through experience of working within a consumer and commercial claims environment.

You will be willing and able to lead by example, with a passion for delivery and ability to develop meaningful long term strategic and operational plans.

Supporting the Head of Technical claims, the Technical Claims Consultant will get involved in the analysis of claims experience and claims performance.

You will help in identifying and reporting on trend analysis to provide the business with valuable information around claims costs, claims trends, leakage, declinators and areas for improvement.

About You

We'd like to hear from applicants who can ideally demonstrate:

A tenacious and effective approach to exceeding targets, and the ability to drive delivery when working with ambiguity and change.
Relevant professional qualifications, typically Dip CII (Diploma Chartered Insurance Institute)
Experience of influencing and effective collaboration with functions and stakeholders outside of immediate control (matrix management).
Communication and relationship building skills including inspiring trust and influencing; constructively challenging points of view
Business acumen (including good understanding of internal and external markets and best practice) and strong commercial and financial awareness.
Able to manage multiple short

- and long-term tasks and projects of varying complexity to associated deadlines, whilst working at pace and providing high quality output

Analytically minded, whilst capable of moulding, reading, understanding and communicating data.
