Description

As a Flight Planning Administrator, you will support the Transport team in managing the daily operation, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets.

Coordinating inbound/outbound flight schedules and routing to drivers.


CONTRACT:
Full time; Permanent.


LOCATION:
London Heathrow - Colnbrook.


SALARY:
£13.91 per hour.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key client personnel.
  • Coordinate with all operational stakeholders, in particular the kitchen staff to ensure outbound trolleys are on schedule.
  • Accurately entering flight information onto the internal systems.
  • Print Flight labels, check sheets and various security paperwork.
  • Schedule flights and update internal systems.
  • Monitor and update systems with scheduled flight vs actual operating flights, to include aircraft types, flight menus and departure times.
  • Action any flight changes promptly and communicate to all relevant departments.
  • Ensure departments acknowledge request, and appropriate action is taken by relevant departments.
  • Logs changes on a tracker spreadsheet.
  • Print special meal labels and special meal reports.
  • Print forecast figures reports at each Air vision query period.
  • Draft, format, and print relevant documents.
  • Print security paperwork.
  • Process aircraft changes and liaise with relevant departments.
  • Manage departmental correspondence.
  • Assist with other duties within various departments as and when required.
  • Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
  • Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
  • Adhere to clean as you go standard.
  • Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
  • Any other duties as requested by your manager.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in catering. (desirable)
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
  • Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
  • Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific)
  • Rotate through different departments/units as reasonably required.
