About Finance at THG


THG Finance is a dynamic and evolving team that covers all areas of finance, including central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax, and internal audit, as well as specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands.

About the Role:

Working as part of a small, independent team, responsible for calculating and managing transactional across the business.


You will be expected to provide detailed weekly forecasts with supportive back up to the divisions as well as adhering to the strict month end deadlines.

You must be able to investigate variances and provide reason to key stakeholders.

Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is required i.e. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and Sumifs.

Excellent written and verbal communication is required.


Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Invoice Coding & Processing
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Employee Expenses
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Some working knowledge of VAT/Tax compliance would be desirable, but not essential

Requirements:


  • Part Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)/Level 34 AAT
  • Experience working within a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
