Our client is a highly successful independent multi-branch property firm specialising in sales, lettings, property management and block management. They currently need an enthusiastic, dynamic, and superbly organised individual to help support their existingClient Accounts department.

You will be working to ensure the department is organised, effective, runs smoothly and that they continue to build excellent relationships with their landlords and tenants.

It's the most important part of the their business because ultimately, the one thingthey must get right above everything else for their clients is their financials

Main duties:

  • Create and maintain strong client relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Daily reconciliation of the client bank account to make sure all rents are in, and that all landlords & contractors are paid. This process includes sending out rent reminders and thirdparty remittance advices.
  • Files need to be kept meticulously as they are audited annually. You are the first line of checking and need to ensure they are completed perfectly.
  • Deal with incoming queries, both internal & external, in a responsive and informed manner, managing expectations appropriately. You will be working closely with the Lettings and Property Management departments, ensuring deposits are paid out to the DPS custodialscheme within the required deadline, chase any arrears, implement any RPI rent increases and helping to manage landlord floats.

Experience / skills required:

  • Has at least 18 months' experience of working within the accounts team of a lettings business you will have basic knowledge of processes such as Rent Run, Bankline, landlord/contractor payment runs, deposit releases, paying invoices and importing new lets.
  • Experience of using Reapit would be highly beneficial.
  • Works to high levels of attention to detail alongside your excellent planning/organizational skills.
  • ARLA Client Money Handling knowledge is preferable but not essential.
  • Is a strong team player and aims to make the unit stronger.
  • Naturally inquisitive with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office competently.

Other:

  • This is a permanent position based in Kensington.
  • The hours of work are 830am6pm Monday and 9am6pm Tuesday to Friday.
  • You can work from home 2 days per week.
  • This position pays a basic salary of between £30,000 £35,000 (depending on experience).
  • 20 days annual leave allowance, plus Bank Holidays and additional time for Christmas office closure.
  • A full UK driving licence is not required.
