Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team at R & M HARDWARE & AGRI SUPPLIES LIMITED.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of our back warehouse, ensuring that our inventory is organized, maintained, and ready for distribution to our retail outlets.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be at the heart of our logistics, contributing to the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming product deliveries with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Safely and efficiently storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment and methods.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for distribution, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and securely packaged.
- Conducting regular stock checks and inventory audits to maintain accurate records of product quantities and conditions.
- Collaborating with the logistics team to coordinate the dispatch of orders and manage transportation schedules.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but not essential.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move items safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary:
£11.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
