As a Hospital Porter, you will:
Be part of a close-knit professional team

Collect and return patients to their individual rooms, before and after surgery

Work with your colleagues to ensure that the theatre environment and its equipment are fully functioning

Help with the cleaning of the theatre environment and equipment

Work in a fast-moving clinical environment

Maintain constant and effective interaction with our theatre team

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

About St Bartholomew's Hospital, Nuffield Health

Soon we'll open the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital.

This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including:
orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services

The new hospital will consist of:48 inpatient and day case bedrooms

28 consultation rooms

Three digital operating theatres

Cardiac catheterisation lab

Specialist intensive care beds

Oncology day unit

Endoscopy and minor ops theatre

Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
