What is the purpose of the Customer Support Specialist?

  • Focus on customer support and service
  • Provide technical support, advice and expertise
  • Assist marketing teams in building appropriate promotions
  • Create opportunities for further sales
  • Resolve customer requirements same day through liaison with other internal departments

What are the responsibilities for the Customer Support Specialist?

  • Process sales orders and direct ship orders
  • Offer technical advice and up sell
  • Basic invoicing
  • Create awareness for current special offers
  • Assist with building promotions
  • Assist with pricing
  • Any other reasonable duties to support the function

What skills and experience will the Customer Support Specialist have?

  • Agricultural machinery
Engineering knowledge
(Worked in a Dealership parts department - Desirable)

  • Excellent verbal and written
communication skills, including excellent
telephone skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Demonstrable IT competency and ability to
use multiple internal systems
Marketing and Product promotion
experience
Specialist Product Knowledge

  • GCSE or equivalent, grade C or higher in
Maths and English
Engineering or Agricultural diploma

  • Positive, can do attitude
Ability to vary working hours, when
necessary
Enjoy working as part of a team with the
ability to work independently
Customer oriented
Resilient and able to deal with all customer
queries
Effectively manage your own time and
prioritise workload
