As our Tax Compliance Consultant you'll be part of a team that is driving and delivering instrumental change across Bupa.

You'll play a key part in reporting and ensuring the companies UK and overseas Tax affairs are compliant.

There will be lots of interaction with our finance teams around the world. There will be opportunities to develop and grow as well as lots of interesting projects to be involved in.

About the area you'll be working in
The International & UK Tax Compliance Consultant assists with managing the Group's International and UK tax compliance requirements.

In addition, you will support the broader Group Tax function in other areas as required, such as employment tax, tax risk and governance, and project work.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the submission of UK tax returns to HMRC
Ensure ongoing compliance with UK corporation tax (CT) rules
Assist with ensuring taxes due for companies outside the group payment arrangement are paid accurately
Manage and oversee overseas tax compliance for Group managed entities and investments including Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong
Liaise with external advisers (both the UK and overseas) on managing UK and international tax compliance.
Provide support on cross border tax issues
Improve and automate the CbCR process
Assist with the endtoend production of the year end consolidated tax charge
Prepare the tax charge for Group entities for the half and fullyear results
Forecasting and budgeting

Who we're looking for?

Recently qualified (ACA/ACCA/CTA)
Technical knowledge of UK tax and UK IFRS / GAAP
Tax compliance experience (e.g. CbCR)
Financial Services experience (e.g. 'Big 4' or FTSE100)
Advanced Excel skills
Global mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
