Business Rates Experience - Opportunity to join the specialist Business Rates team with our client, a well-established London surveyors known by their clients for their industry leading expertise.

They work with a broad range of clients whose property portfolio'sinclude office, retail, hospitals and more.

For this position we are looking for an experienced business rates specialist account manager with experience of:

Appraising vacancy assets
Providing solutions to empty rates liability to minimise liability of vacant properties
Liaising with authorities to claim reliefs and exemptions
Challenging billing authorities legal stance and dealing with challenges and appeals
Reporting savings of rates liability to clients
Negotiating refunds
Keeping accurate records re changes of occupation and future lease events
Similar experience including SBBR and ideally with IRRV qualification
