Description

We are looking for someone to join our team who can support the setting as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator.

You will need to have experience of working within a childcare setting as well as an awareness of SEN and the documentations listed in the job description.

We want someone to join our wonderful non for-profit registered charity which has been running successfully for over 50 years in the heart of the town of Newquay in Cornwall.

Newquay Preschool and Nursery was first established over 50 years ago by parents who noticed a need for childcare for their own children and started their own parent and toddler group.

The group grew and so the founders re located the setting to a larger establishment forming Newquay Playgroup then in 1988 the setting moved again to its current location and became Newquay Preschool and Nursery.

The setting was the first of its kind in the local community and so has a very long and wonderful history and is much loved seeing many families grow and return with their own children.

It has strong ties to the local community and has strived over the years to provide affordable quality childcare for families.

You will need to be committed to supporting children with SEN and have high aspirations for all children who attend the setting.

The rate of pay is £11.00 per hour

You must have a level three qualification in childcare and education or above.
