Description
Our established and recognised client are recruiting a Senior Accounts and Audit position based in Bicester. A local practice, the company are looking for someone who is dedicated and professional.


Within this position you will be working with an experienced team, preparing accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT returns and more.

Working hours of 09:00-17:30. With a salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum dependent on experience.


Duties of the role:

  • Prepare accounts (Sole Traders, Partnership and Limited companies) and review accounts completed by junior colleagues.
  • Assist with training and development provided to Junior colleagues.
  • Prepare tax computations/CT600 and Self-Assessment personal tax returns to completion.
  • Plan and lead audits, completing the process and ensuring everything is correctly conducted.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Liaise frequently with stakeholders and clients including HMRC, building positive and strong relationships.
  • Ensure that all changes in accounting standards are monitored and knowledge is up to date.

Personal Attributes:

  • Be fully ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Have previous experience of working in an accountancy practice.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office and accountancy packages.
  • Show strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Bring a professional and personable approach to work.
This position also offers one day hybrid working after a successful probation.
