We're working with a successful global professional services business who are looking to hire a management accountant to join their growing finance function.

This will be for an initial 3-6 month period with a view to extension & a permanent role.


Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role will encompass a full suite of management accounts processes and procedures, from day to day transactional processing of supplier invoices, expenses, bank reconciliation and customer invoice raisingto month end reporting, balance sheet ownership, VAT submission and adhoc reporting for management teams.


Full training and support will be given on all systems used by the business, but experience with Xero would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts
  • P+L and Balance sheet production
  • Working across 2 companies and consolidation for board reporting
  • Reporting
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Accruals & prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • VAT submission and payment
  • HMRC reporting
  • Processing of supplier invoices and expenses
  • Ensuring payment on time as per payment terms
  • Raising of customer invoices and ensuring payment received on time
  • Adhoc reporting across both revenue and expenditure

Skill, Qualification, Characteristics:

  • CIMA or ACCA part qualified with funding provided for completion of studies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
