Social Isolation Engagement and Participation Coordinator

Hours: 35 hours per week

Permanent

Salary:
£27,278 to £ 30,309

pro rata (based on a FTE of 35 Hours)

The Social Isolation Participation and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and promoting the active participation and engagement of older people in the planning, development and delivery of services across third, public and statutory sectors.

This post will be instrumental in supporting older people and representing groups to provide a strong, coherent and collective voice.

It will strengthen engagement of grass-roots initiatives, community groups and Third Sector partners with community planning and development.

About the Job

Responsibilities

Provide outreach to individuals and families in the community
Help individuals with disabilities or other barriers to access
Participate in community events and activities, including school tours, community events, and community outreach
Participate in advocacy efforts with local businesses
Help individuals with disabilities or barriers to access
Assist with placement of individuals in Community-Based Services (CBS) programs
Assist with transportation of individuals into the community
Maintain records of outreach, advocacy, and placement activities
Maintain records of individuals served, services provided, issues raised, and other information provided by the team as needed by the department's policies and procedures related to participation in COVID19 vaccination programs
