Overview:

Duties:


  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on proper procedures and safety protocols
  • Load and unload delivery lorries, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling of goods
  • Build pallets or containers for outgoing shipments according to specifications
  • Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and locations
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to move materials within the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting with knowledge of materials handling processes
  • Proficiency in using a forklift for loading/unloading goods safely
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks routinely
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

£27,008.57-£46,006.56 per year
