Who we areTalbot is an international insurer and reinsurer operating within the Lloyd's market through Syndicates 1183 and 2019.

Get to know the business
Syndicate 1183 underwrites multiple classes of business including Political Violence/Terrorism, Marine, Energy (off-shore and on-shore), Marine and Energy Liability, Hull, Cargo and Specie, Political Risk, Property, Accident and Health, Financial Lines, Cyber, Alternative Risks, Non-Physical Cyber and Treaty Reinsurance.
About the role
What you need to know:
Analyse and produce/ assist in the analysis/ production of reports and statistics as required, including in respect of the business planning process and accounting exercises.
Prepare information packs and accompanying summaries for underwriters as required/ requested, including the collation of broker-supplied material.
Liaise with brokers, clients, and other professionals as necessary.
Assist underwriters to carry out their duties and assist generally in the efficient running and management of the business.
What we're looking for:
Underwriting operational experience is desirable
Understanding of the insurance/Lloyd's market
Chartered Insurance Institute - Certificate
Good IT skills
Attention to detail
Analytical/ numerically literate
Able to work as part of a team or independently
Ability to multitask and prioritize with limited guidance
