Family Liaison Officer - Permanent contract
A friendly, community Secondary School in Westminster is looking for a Family Liaison Officer to join their Staff Team for an ASAP start.
As a Family Liaison Officer, you will work closely with all staff, as well as external agencies, to improve opportunities for students and their families, and signpost them accordingly.
Your involvement as a Family Liaison Officer (FLO) will enable children to flourish as you help manage their social and emotional needs

Family Liaison Officer - Job Description
- Manage the school's attendance and welfare programme
- Provide pastoral support to pupils and families
- Promote, strengthen and maintain an active partnership between children/families/external agencies
- Meet with pupils and parents where necessary to address any concerns
- Be committed to promoting the happiness and welfare of the pupils
- Located in Westminster
- ASAP Start
- Must have previous experience working with young people in difficult circumstances and relevant safeguarding knowledge
- Good knowledge of SEN and issues that can affect pupil and family wellbeing
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Rated "Outstanding" in most recent Oftsted inspection
- Excellent leadership with enthusiastic and hardworking staff team throughout
- Fantastic transport links
- Located in the Borough of Westminster
