Description
Imagine a future where you manage the Joint Ventures in our Irish Sea portfolio,
- driving the commercial performance of six operational offshore wind farms _

Join us in this role where you'll take a lead role in maximising the value of our assets (EBITDA and NPV), shaping their development, and ensuring productive relations with our Joint Venture (JV) partners.

Welcome to Asset Management, UK Coastal

You'll be part of the Asset Management UK Coastal team based in London where you, together with your colleagues, will lead a small, dedicated team responsible for a wide range of commercial activities essential to the successful operation of the JVs.

Working with our partners and experts across the organisation, primarily in Operations, Finance, and Legal, your goal will be to maximise the value of the 1.9GW portfolio comprising Walney Extension, Walney 1 & 2, West of Duddon Sands, Burbo Extension, Burbo 1, and Barrow.

As a team, we work closely and collaboratively together to do two things:

firstly, we manage the investments in the assets, and secondly, we manage our investors, managing the JVs and supporting our co-owners.

You'll play an important role in:

  • maximising the lifetime value of the assets (EBITDA and NPV) by identifying and managing risks to the business case, and driving initiatives to mitigate associated threats and to realise opportunities
- promoting a strong QHSE culture and acting as a role model internally and externally
- representing the company in the JV boards as director, developing productive partner relations, and handling commercial issues and negotiations in the partnership
- representing the JV towards external stakeholders, e.g., the transmission system owners (OFTOs), authorities, and commercial parties
- delivering the services required to manage the JV, including board meeting preparation, recommendations, budgets, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- supporting the development of your team of Commercial Managers and the wider UK Asset Management team.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • possess extensive professional experience of joint ventures and contract management
- can offer deep commercial insight, as well as excellent negotiation and project management skills
- have a passion for all the commercial, financial, technical, and operational aspects that drive the business case of an offshore wind farm
- possess the strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills required for managing internal and external stakeholders across a huge breath of activities
- can be flexible and can manage highly complex competing priorities.
