About the role
Our Consultants provide administrative, project management and analytical work across our projects.

Their day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed analysis on both quantitative and qualitative information; working closely with clients at a frontline level to deliver change, and creating documented deliverables including reports and presentations - all in which aid the progress of our work.


Our Consultants support their colleagues on specific elements of a project - with tasks that range from administration and coordination of project activities, supporting workshops, working with frontline professionals, and capturing key insights to share with their project Managers.


About you
To be right for the role of Consultant within IMPOWER, you should have a combination of the below skills and experiences:

  • Evidenced experience of working on change and transformation projects within the public sector, social care, local government or health environments
  • including supporting senior project team colleagues with specific workstreams.
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with others on a project, building strong relationships quickly and tackling resistance as it arises.
  • Demonstrable experience facilitating, developing or supporting workshops, focus groups or other similar activities with support from senior colleagues.
  • Evidence of working at pace on a project whilst delivering high quality outcomes.
  • Experience and demonstrable comfort in adapting quickly to new topic areas, clients or developing new skills when required.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Good understanding of what it means to work with valuesbased people and organisations.
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office software, including; ability to use Excel to analyse data; presentation skills to a range of stakeholders, producing high quality documents and reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Organisation skills.
