Full Time, Permanent

Holidays - 23 days rising to 27 over five years

All bank holidays and three additional statutory days

A vacancy has arisen for a Land Drainage Operative to join a small team working across the Trent Valley area, providing flood protection and water level management for the local communities.

This will be based predominantly at our Orston Depot but will involve working on site across the district.

The role will involve weed clearance of watercourses using a tractor mounted flailmower during the summer and reforming, improvement, construction and tree works during the winter.

The ability to work on your own initiative in a responsible and safe manner is essential.

Full driving licence required. Experience in tractor/flail driving essential. CPCS/NPORS excavator, NPTC chainsaw and spraying qualifications would be an advantage.
