Description

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join our precision engineering client in Ayrshire.

You will report to the Production Manager, CNC Hall, and be responsible for creating and updating production plans in addition to being the point of contact for other departments and customers and suppliers.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

BOM preparation within the MRP system and Works Order creation
Create and manage production plan around customer account requirements
Plan, communicate and agree all work requirements
Track, measure, monitor and report on all commercial KPIs
Expedite client orders on shop floor to maintain work flow
Plan people and material resources
Collaborate and coordinate between departments, customers and suppliers
Practice all safety and compliance requirements and encourage others

Our client is looking for you to have the following:

Experience of working in a manufacturing engineering environment, preferably planning background
Experience of CNC turning, milling, and grinding
Proficient in Progress Plus (MRP or similar system)
Understanding of machine drawings
Excellent communication skills
