The Young Person's Advisory Service (YPAS) is a Liverpool based charity that provides a wide range of therapeutic and wellbeing services to address the mental health and emotional well-being difficulties of children, young people, and families.


YPAS's multi-disciplinary teams of therapists and wellbeing practitioners deliver services from three community hubs geographically positioned in the north, south and city centre of the city.

The teams work collaboratively and in partnership with cross sector services within heath, education and social care.


YPAS is seeking to recruit a Wellbeing Practitioner to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people by providing a range of information, advice, guidance, and group work, to support resilience and enhance coping strategies.


Requirements:

Youth work / social work / mental health or IAG qualification to degree level or equivalent is essential, as is post qualification experience.


Salary:


NJC SCP:
£30,296 - £31,364)


Contract:12 Months Fixed Term (possibility of permanent - pending funding)


Hours:35 hours per week
