We're working exclusively with a growing South Manchester brand, to help them find a Content Writer to join their team.


Our Client


Already a £20m turnover business that has experienced double digit percentage growth over the last few years, they've received significant investment that is intended to drive their growth forward, they currently have a 20 person marketing, digital and creative team.

Working across over a dozen different brands, they are keen to hear from people who enjoy working with multiple brands and products.


The Role
You'll be producing a wide range of SEO-optimised content for multiple brands within the business.

Primarily this will be written content for blog posts, newsletters and marketing campaign copy, across a variety of topics such as sport, beauty, automotive, music and cycling, but you'll also have opportunity to be involved in the creation of multimedia content such as video.

You'll also manage relationships with freelance writers and edit their content, as well as uploading content via platforms such as Umbraco and WordPress, through to regular reporting on content performance.

Working closely with the wider Digital Marketing team, you'll play a key role in the wider digital marketing strategy, help to drive SEO performance and contribute to increasing organic rankings, traffic and revenue.


You


You should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a content or copywriting role, ideally from a fast-paced in-house or agency environment.

You'll have a clear writing style, exceptional attention to detail with an eye for consistency, strong command of grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Good knowledge of writing for SEO purposes and keyword research, and experience of researching, drafting and publishing online content in a variety of forms.
