Description

Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025 | 37 hours per week | £22,369 to £24,054 per annum (Scale E) | Norwich

As part of our ongoing work to support Ukrainian refugees to settle in Norfolk we are seeking project and communications support officers for this fast-paced programme supporting between refugees who have arrived in Norfolk Over the last year.

These roles are integral to supporting the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuing customer queries are responded to, that systems are kept up to date and processes are followed to full support guests and hosts.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across NCC and Local Councils, to understand the different ways we can offer support to people within their communities.

The Homes for Ukraine programme is vital to ensuring people's needs are met and that hosts and guests are supported with community integration, financial and wider support with things like employment and school places.

In addition, many people are arriving through other Visa routes who will require similar support and we need to ensure that the structure of the support for all refugees arriving in the County supports successful community integration and access to services.

We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people.

Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
