Description
We are currently seeking an Administration Area Team Leader to be based in our Birmingham office.We can offer you a welcoming environment to work in, a strong learning culture, and the opportunity to play an important role in our functional support teams that support a group of 2500+ talented engineers, planners and scientists nationwide.
You will work as part of our team to provide an effective and flexible service to support the offices, technical teams/managers and groups.
You will take a lead role in the planning and introduction of a centralised administration service, covering our offices in Birmingham, Northampton and Cambridge.
You will play a key part in creating a service that ensures the provision of outstanding customer service, ensuring efficiency and economy.
This is an opportunity to support and manage the administration staff in our Midlands and East offices, including team leadership, day-to-day assistance, management of workload and line-management.
Daily responsibilities can vary from scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking and distributing minutes, arranging all the necessary conference room facilities and assisting with the preparation/formatting of documents using the _Microsoft Office_ suite.
About You:
You will have previous experience of working in a professional/corporate office environment and have strong skills in Microsoft Office.
You will have strong communication and organisational skills and have a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
Previous experience of managing a small team is essential for this role.
Your understanding of customer service, as well as the importance of good project outcomes will be important to your success.
