Description
We are seeking an entry-level Administrator to join us in our new Leeds office to support with the administrative running of the office and reception to ensure an excellent client experience.
We can offer you a welcoming environment, within a collaborative close-knit team in a new office setting in the heart of Leeds.
You will provide general admin support to the office.
Daily responsibilities will include welcoming visitors and answering the telephone, scheduling meetings using Microsoft Outlook and arranging the meeting rooms facilities.
You may be required to arrange travel, accommodation and car hire for colleagues at all levels.
You will undertake a varied and challenging role; Liaising with external contacts and with colleagues at all levels to ensure effective communication on admin related matters, whilst assisting the project teams with administrative tasks, including document coordination and managing digital information on various digital platforms.
You may be required to perform a role within our Emergency Response Team (eg Fire Warden, First Aider, Mental Health First Aider), for which training will be given.
You may also be required from time to time to carry out tasks that fall outside the remit of this position.
ABOUT YOU
We are not necessarily seeking someone with extensive Admin experience, possibly a school leaver, personable, motivated and keen to learn.
You will need to have a friendly, open approach to how you work, while being able to actively work and communicate with the technical teams and support many of the administrative activities on some of Stantec's major frameworks.
You will have a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
Solid I.T skills will be required to raise purchase orders, process expense claims, complete timecards and arrange meetings/communicate with colleagues using Microsoft Teams.
