Management Accountant / Finance Manager

Maidenhead, £40,000 - £55,000 hybrid-working, with excellent benefits

Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a services-based business based in Maidenhead who are actively looking to appoint a Management Accountant / Finance Manager who will deliver timely and accurate management of accounts for business units withinthe group.

About the role - key responsibilities:

Reviewing and analysing of the monthly management accounts and understanding of variances against previous year and budget to communicate to senior management
Preparing budgets and forecasts
Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and margins
Challenging existing processes and making recommendations driving continuous efficiency and improvements
Preparing and reviewing sales reports
Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
Assisting external auditors and assisting with yearend statutory accounts preparation
Contributing to the larger strategic objectives of the organisation

What you will need to be successful:

Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified, ideally a finalist
Previous experience of preparing management accounts
Excellent numeracy skills
Experience using Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and basic formulas)
Basic understanding of financial transactions including double entry bookkeeping
Able to communicate at all levels of the business
