We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Client Onboarding team.

Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA.

We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise.
This role is located in Liverpool and is hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsibility for successful delivery of all Client Conversion projects for Pershing EMEA (new client firm onboarding, firm to firm transfers, new product conversions, client firm offboardings) in an accurate and timely manner
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops regional staff, maximising individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Develops strong working relationships with key business partners (Relationship Management, Client Service, Operations, Product, Technology, Compliance and Risk) to ensure the team's timely delivery that is consistently in line with, if not exceeding, client expectations
  • Identifying and facilitating implementation of process improvements and efficiencies which reduces time to onboard in a controlled manner and to the company's and clients' benefit.
  • Primary point of contact for Pershing EMEA Onboarding on any new Product rollouts and process improvement initiatives
  • Manages strategic initiatives for the Pershing Onboarding team and represents the team in crossfunctional and cross line of business efforts
  • Oversight responsibility on regulatory commitments related to EMEA and Project Governance
  • Represents Client Onboarding at the Business Acceptance Committee
  • Primary Onboarding point of contact for Requests for Proposal for prospective clients, participates in and facilitates related presentations and workshops.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Extensive relevant work experience with a number of years in management preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and the ability to influence others
  • Experience in clientfacing and/or project and programme management roles preferred
  • Strong management skills and experience in managing and developing teams of varying sizes and expertise levels
  • Customer centric with strong commercial acumen, providing the ability to understand client problems, identify solutions, and derive commercial value from those opportunities.
  • Demonstrable ability to design and implement process and client experience improvements
  • Proven risk management capabilities
  • Strategic thinker and proficient problem solver
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
