Seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a sociable team in Swindon.Being the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, it is key that they are greeted and met with a positive, can do attitude.
The role includes assisting the Supervisor andteam in offering an excellent level of service for our customers and suppliers.Benefits:

The Role:
- To provide a high quality customer service in the sale of building materials, ensuring customers' awareness of all materials available
- Loading and unloading of stock
- Review and ensure the required stock levels are maintained and merchandised
- Use correct documentation when booking goods in and out
- Reporting damaged stock and out of date or faulty products to the line manager.
- Complete the daily defect sheet
- Participate in stock taking when required
- Report near misses, hazards and injuries to the line manager
- Continue your development through training.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Excellent customer service
- Experience in a similar role desirable
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative with mínimal supervision
- Administrative skills
- Ability to operate mechanical handling (training provided)
