Based in Hyde we specialise in event and prop design, production & installation.

Over the last 15 years we have run our own events which has given us the knowledge and know-how of how events work and what they need, in order to run efficiently and avoid the headaches that come with production.


From club and festival décor to restaurant design and brand activations we have gone from strength to strength to become one of the biggest UK décor and prop installation companies.


Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


Procurement Management:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods and services.

Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate vendor capabilities to make informed sourcing decisions.
Lead the negotiation process with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Create and manage contracts with suppliers, outlining terms, conditions, and service level agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices.


Research and Data Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research on various topics related to the organization's industry, market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate reports and actionable insights for management and other stakeholders.
Utilize statistical and data analysis tools to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor and evaluate market conditions, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement decisions or business operations.


Vendor and Supplier Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly, addressing any issues or concerns to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with contractual agreements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between procurement activities and operational requirements.


Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to procurement processes and supplier engagements.
Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation for audit and compliance purposes.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
  • Familiarity with relevant procurement and contract management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
