My global consultancy client is looking for a Programme Manager for a 7 Month Contract, on a
remote working model.
MUST HAVE SC AND NPPV2 CLEARANCE
Skills Desired:
- Experience of leading delivery within a client facing commercial environment
- Experience of Datacentre work (primarily datacentre exit) is desirable.
- Exemplar project/programme management and engagement skills with strong previous experience evident
- Experience of largescale delivery projects and programmes
- Proven experience of managing projects in the range 1,500 to 10,000 mandays and £1m direct delivery budget responsibility
- Proven ability to deliver effective business outcomes for clients whilst managing internal commercial and delivery risk
- Excellent people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and lead multidisciplined teams
- Demonstrable skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and presentation
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for all aspects of project/programme management for the DC Exit workstreams under your purview; responsible for workstream delivery to agreed cost and time parameters.
- Management of the workstreams under your purview through the complete lifecycle; with particular focus on the management of the delivery plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
- Represent the workstreams under your purview at internal/client meetings
- Develop client relationships at senior management level
- Ensure that value is delivered from the workstreams, benefits are tracked and realised and carry out programme audits and assurance reviews.
- Clear and concise weekly status workstream reporting and plan updates
- Manage the financial reporting process.
- Management of the client obligations and scope.
- Work together with the DC Exit Programme Director, client and other delivery Leads to realize the common programme objective.
- Effective stakeholder engagement (including the operational teams, partners, client, other third parties) regarding relevant aspects of the programme in line with the contract, programme baseline, programme status and client feedback. Communications withstakeholders and teams
- Management and motivation of the team, including setting of objectives for direct reports and timely completion of their assignment reviews.
- Ensure the group mandated tools are utilized.
