We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team although training can be given to a suitable applicant.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking orders and must be able to work under pressure at busy times.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, washing up

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, the main ones being cross contamination and allergens.
• Helping to serve in the sandwich bar when requested.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Culinary skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, and food presentation
• Food preparation: Ability to handle and prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
• Kitchen experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment
• Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and understanding of health code regulations
• Kitchen management: Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment

Must be able to follow instruction about food prep and Adhere to our working procedures and practices.

Early starts 7-8 am essential.
