Based in central Reading, this is a brilliant Accounts Assistant role to support and train with a really supportive and creative Finance team.


You will be based within a small Finance function of 3 people and work across all areas of transactional finance, supporting the Finance Manager with all aspects of AP/AR and reconciliations.

Description
The key aspects of the Accounts Assistant will be to:

  • Reporting to the Head of Accounts team, supporting the Accounts Assistant to process and monitor all business accounting activities
  • From Invoice processing to expense requests, chasing departments for any relevant information
  • Understanding of Credit control
  • Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
  • Basic administration, including processing and organising of accounts correspondence
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Support with month end processes
