Software Design Assurance Support

Remote
once a fortnight in the office in Worcestershire

Typical tasks:

  • Requirements review against a requirements standard.
  • Analysis of test cases, mapping to functional requirements and determination of the true scope of requirements coverage.
  • Identification of requirements coverage gaps and definition of new test cases and/or analyses to address gaps.
  • Implementation of new test cases within the existing test framework.
  • Documentation of the above in the form of test plans and procedures.
  • Conduct verification analyses and code inspections.
  • Execute verifications in a formal environment.
  • Documentation of formal tests in test reports.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket
  • Jenkins
  • TestStand
  • Python
  • MS Office tools (Excel, Word)
Knowledge and experience of the following would be an advantage:

  • Requirements based Systems Engineering principles
  • Software or Firmware verification
  • DO178C design assurance
  • DO254 design assurance
  • Parasoft C/C++ Test
  • Enterprise Architect
  • VHDL
  • ActiveHDL
  • DOORS Classic
  • StarTeam
