Contract Support - Washington, United Kingdom - Connect Appointments
Description
Connect are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Contract Support Worker, at their Washington, England site.
As a Contract Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients engineering team and ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logging jobs on our "job watch" system and the engineers PDA
- Planning the engineer's day and workload
- Locating materials and purchasing them
- Discussing work with the client and our subcontractors
- Working out costs for reactive works
- Assisting in general office admin
- Being part of the outofhours callout team approximately 1 week in eight.
Requirements:
- Experience within engineering/industrial
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in administration or customer service
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good problemsolving skills
- A full driving license is preferred but not essential.
The role:
- 07:30 16:00 or 08:00 16:30
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Washington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
