Connect are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Contract Support Worker, at their Washington, England site.


As a Contract Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients engineering team and ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Logging jobs on our "job watch" system and the engineers PDA
  • Planning the engineer's day and workload
  • Locating materials and purchasing them
  • Discussing work with the client and our subcontractors
  • Working out costs for reactive works
  • Assisting in general office admin
  • Being part of the outofhours callout team approximately 1 week in eight.

Requirements:


  • Experience within engineering/industrial
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in administration or customer service
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • A full driving license is preferred but not essential.

The role:


  • 07:30 16:00 or 08:00 16:30
- £23,000 per annum


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Washington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
