Milk Education are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for a Secondary School in Ashington to work on an on-going basis

Schools use a Classroom Supervisor to support non-contact time for teachers - you will be given the opportunity to gain teaching experience without being a qualified teacher, in a school which offers a welcoming and supportive teaching and learning environment.

Classroom Supervisor role & responsibilities:


  • Deliver preset lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
  • Follow and implement the school's Safeguarding and Behaviour policies.
  • Liaise with the school's Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes.
  • No planning or marking required.

Classroom Supervisor Non-negotiables:


  • Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people (preferably in an educational setting).
  • Graduatelevel qualification.
  • Passion for education.
  • Hardworking and reliable.
