Job Overview:
Setup and maintain EDMS on projects. Control and delivery of project documentation generated by Project Teams (Contractor, Other Contractor and Vendors). Lead Project Document Control team. Client, project and vendor document processing, tracking, reporting, expediting and archiving. Translate project requirements into functions provided by the EDMS. Communicate complex Document Control solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers. Train other Document Controllers by providing instruction on new technologies and/or system enhancements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Leading Supplier module of the works
- Provides 1 st line support for EDMS
- Coordinates with Department Manager or Supervisor in regards to staffing plans and budgets for projects to ensure appropriate staffing levels and cost management
- Instructs Project Document Control team on deliverable work processes for project
- Maintains EDMS on project
- Liaise with Project, Customer and Information Management teams to create project reporting dashboards
- Supervise, train and mentor Project Document Control team
- Support Partner Document Control Team in administering the EDMS
- Make recommendations for work improvement processes to Manager Document Management
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Proven record of delivering results on complex projects
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with a positive, customer serviceoriented attitude
- Ability to work with a multicultural globally dispersed team across time zones
