Location:
London, NW8

Hours: 37.5hrs pw (Shifts: Long days, nights & weekends)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic experienced nurse to join our Oncology & Medical team as Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.

The role is based in the 1- bed oncology and medical ward with an additional 2 bedded specialist treatment area for our Neuroendocrine patients.

There is a mixture of acutely unwell patients, chemotherapy patients and end of life patients.
The successful applicant will have at least **2 years' experience
** in the oncology setting, including a good knowledge of caring for patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive therapies, expert cannulation and venepuncture skills, proven teaching,supervision, and staff support skills, and the ability to communicate with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
**Skills & Experience
**NMC Registered Nurse
Post registration qualification in Cancer/ Chemotherapy Nursing
Recognised teaching, assessing, mentoring qualification
Extensive experience within Cancer specialty Evidence of continuing professional development.
Evidence of management experience / training
Skilled in Phlebotomy / Cannulation / Care of CVADs/ IV administration
