The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Publicly Available Information (PAI) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a combatant command's intelligence mission. In this role, you will conduct deep-dive research, produce analytic products, and support intelligence requirements with advanced collection techniques using a DoD-approved Managed Attribution system. You will leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools, to identify insights from large-scale data and enhance the relevance and depth of open-source intelligence (OSINT) production, all while adhering to established tradecraft standards.

You will serve as the command's functional expert on PAI, providing training to varying personnel, including travel to the African continent. You will collaborate with interagency and DoD stakeholders, contribute to mission planning, and ensure the effective dissemination of products and briefings tailored to intelligence consumers and foreign partners. You will also integrate AI and machine-assisted tools into the OSINT production process to streamline analysis of high-volume data, surface patterns or anomalies, and support scalable, timely reporting, all in accordance with IC tradecraft and analytic integrity standards.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating new PAI techniques and technologies, testing collection tools, writing and reviewing reports, and advising on policy or procedural improvements. You will balance accuracy and expediency in production, track customer satisfaction, and comply with guidance on information sharing and protection.

You Have

• 5+ years of experience authoring intelligence products, including OSIRs
• 3+ years of experience in OSINT or PAI research, collection methods, and multi-source systems, including advanced PAI analytical principles, data manipulation, and analysis, including geo-enabled PAI
• 1+ years of experience producing ICD 203-compliant all-source intelligence or SIGINT or GEOINT products in a professional analytic role
• Experience with digital searches, producing collection requirements assessments, and working with IC and DoD joint organizations
• Experience applying structured OSINT methodologies in an intelligence or operational context
• Knowledge of PAI platforms, datasets, and technologies, and critical web environments and associated tradecraft
• Knowledge of tools provided by the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, and identifying new and emerging tools
• Ability to brief senior leaders, coordinate with foreign partners, and tailor writing to broad audiences
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with the African continent, including intelligence or data analysis of political, security, or socio-economic issues
• Experience integrating OSINT or PAI into all-source intelligence production and training others in advanced PAI research and analysis
• Experience in data visualization, nodal analysis, and workflow automation, and using AI or machine learning tools to analyze large datasets in intelligence contexts
• Experience identifying and analyzing disinformation networks, including source vetting for bias and information accuracy
• Experience with investigatory journalistic tradecraft, including transparent documentation of step-by-step collection methods
• Experience evaluating, recommending, and using PAI platforms and technologies, including open-source and public datasets
• Ability to display a score of 2/2 DLPT or equivalent in the French language
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Completion of an All-Source or Single-INT Analyst Training Program such as DIA's PACE or CDASA-1
• Completion of Open-Source or Cyber OSINT Government or Commercial Training such as BOSIC, BOSC 301 or 302, BOTC, AOTC, SANS 487, or CASO

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
