File checkers we need you Are you working for a network, IFA or life company and are you Diploma qualified, or close to completing it?


Are you looking for a new challenge or are you just overworked and need a better balance? This role is 100% home based remote and we'll give you the flexibility to run your own work schedule.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely successful and established London firm that has a robust compliance and T&C regime supported by its highly capable experts.

We will give you the responsibility of working on your own initiative and organisingyour schedule and we are also on hand to give you the support you need.

Whilst this role is remote, you will get to feel and be an important part of our company, liaising and dealing with many different people within the business.

About the role
The role reports into the T&C Manager and duties will include:

  • Managing the file check selection process in line with the T&C scheme requirements.
  • Manage the file check database.
  • Giving feedback and chasing and managing any remedial action.
  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external key contacts and providing advice and guidance as required.
  • Identifying trends and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Other projects that may relate to file checking and file quality.

Financial planning areas covered:

pensions, ISA/GIA, protection, bonds, trust planning, structured products, tax efficient investing (EIS/SEIS/VCT/BRP), SSAS/QROPS, DC switch, equity release and long-term care.


Essential skills

  • Experience in file checking you'll need to be able to hit the ground running.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified or close to achieving it.
  • We are looking for a selfstarter who can work effectively to deadlines at home under their own steam.
  • Wellorganised.
  • Able to communicate feedback and deal with any questions.
  • Be confident and good at building and maintaining relationships.
  • Share our core values.

Additional information
Home based, work remotely from anywhere in the UK with occasional visits to the office. The role is full time, and we would consider a job share arrangement with two part-time employees. There will be an element of study and exam costs support if you arenot quite Diploma qualified.
