Celon has an exciting opportunity for a Networking Engineer to join our growing consulting team, starting immediately, on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to lead into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with team leads and client(s) to define and document network requirements.
  • Review and integrate all requirements, including functional, security, usability, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Proactive maintenance, capacity management and ongoing upgrade of the core network infrastructure
  • Ensure all Network related changes follow the necessary infrastructure Change management processes.
  • Ensure that policies, standards, procedures and guidelines are followed
  • There may be a requirement for adhoc site visits to support clients and achieve delivery of projects

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • A strong understanding of Cisco Meraki SDWAN
  • Proven experience of configurating network infrastructure, including Cisco Routing and Switching in complex environments
  • Previous experience monitoring, investigating and diagnosing network faults, security and performance issues
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to propose and implement solutions and evaluate their effectiveness
  • The ability to prioritise your own work and plan and communicate future activities
  • Confidence and capability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical team members
  • Experience of producing and maintaining network documentation
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes and systems
