Celon has an exciting opportunity for a Networking Engineer to join our growing consulting team, starting immediately, on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to lead into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with team leads and client(s) to define and document network requirements.
Review and integrate all requirements, including functional, security, usability, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
Proactive maintenance, capacity management and ongoing upgrade of the core network infrastructure
Ensure all Network related changes follow the necessary infrastructure Change management processes.
Ensure that policies, standards, procedures and guidelines are followed
There may be a requirement for adhoc site visits to support clients and achieve delivery of projects

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

A strong understanding of Cisco Meraki SDWAN
Proven experience of configurating network infrastructure, including Cisco Routing and Switching in complex environments
Previous experience monitoring, investigating and diagnosing network faults, security and performance issues
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to propose and implement solutions and evaluate their effectiveness
The ability to prioritise your own work and plan and communicate future activities
Confidence and capability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical team members
Experience of producing and maintaining network documentation
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes and systems
