Description

I am currently recruiting for a Service Controller to work on behalf of the planning team at Construction Services in a local authority in Barnsley (S71 Postcode).

Initially the role will be raising & allocating works orders in SAP, contacting customers to make appointments and planning operatives workloads using SAP works management.

You will then move into the following duties:

Call handling including internal & external customers along with Construction Services operatives
Booking & dealing with enquiries related to legal annual cyclical servicing
Works allocations
Scheduling of responsive repairs

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Have excellent communication skills
Be able to multitask & work in a fastpaced environment
Be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude to team working
Have experience of working within a customer focussed service along with knowledge of the local area
Have experience of working in a Repairs Service or Works Planning environment
Be able to demonstrate experience in the use of computerised scheduling software
Have good MS Office skills

For the right person this could lead to a permanent role.
The hourly rate for this role is £10.93 and the hours of work are fulltime with the latest finish being 5pm
