About the Role:


How will you make an impact?
The Tender Coordinator will be responsible for a defined geographic region (Northern Europe).

You will be tasked with supporting the sales team with administration and coordination of tenders from reviewing the initial request, managing the established tender process to submitting the final bid to purchaser.


What will you do?:


  • Identify relevant tenders from the appropriate sources of information for assigned region.
  • Arrange and conduct briefing meetings with key collaborators to settle suitability of tenders and submit an Expression of Interest, where relevant.
  • Define the process per tender and distribute, ensuring that all partners are identified, that the deadlines are scheduled, and that roles and responsibilities are assigned accordingly to guarantee an optimal and timely delivery.
  • Coordinating the completion of tender documentation by liaising with a wide range of roles within the organisation such as legal, sales, sales enablement, product development and proposal manager, marketing, professional and informative services.
  • With support of our Legal Department, examine any tender terms and conditions and highlight potential red flags and issues and communicate to the various functions/team members.
  • Coordinate all pre, active and posttender clarifications.
  • Ensure that all documents are accurate, up to date, signed (if required) and provided in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all submissions are received into the relevant purchasing authority by the required deadlines, are compliant and submitted on time in full
  • Develop, maintain, and drive continuous improvement in Tender Knowledge Bank database.
  • Provide suggestions for improvements in process, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Conducting won/lost analyses, producing a report for discussion with relevant stakeholders and identifying best practices to win bids.
  • Building and maintaining company tender documentation library.
  • Establish and manage a library of legal documents, translations, case studies, technical requirements and bid responses.
  • Assist and support Contract Adherence.
  • Ensure that Thermo Fisher Diagnostics' quality processes are always adhered to.
  • Support with the Customer service tasks with the UK Customer Service Team

Crucial Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree or with experience working in administrative support ideally from a sales.
  • Fluent spoken/written English.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, manage multiple projects, set priorities, work independently, and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent digital literacy.
  • Ability to encourage mutual respect and cooperation within your departmental team and those of other departments.
  • To continue to acquire and develop the vital skills and knowledge to ensure continuing personal growth to meet the needs of the job and the success of the business.
  • Broad understanding of Public Sector Healthcare Procurement process.

Desirable:


  • Previous experience as a proposal a manger, bid writer or tender coordinator
  • Knowledge of legal aspects of tender process
  • Previous experience of Sales Force
  • Relevant skills/experience in a similar market environment
