ASD Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education is currently working with a ASD School who is looking to take on an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant who is able to come in and hit the ground running.

You will be required to work in one of their classes that has 5 students in. All the studentsyou will be helping with be on the Autistic Spectrum.

Throughout the day you will be supporting them during their lessons, managing their behaviour and assisting them to the toilet.

Due to the students needs they may be times when you are required to workon a 1:1 basis.

Therefore, the ideal ASD Teaching Assistant for this role must have had previous experience in a similar type of school and ideally be Team Teach or MAPA trained.

ASD School

This ASD School is located in the South London borough of Lambeth and caters for students aged between 9-19 years who have Autism.

They currently have 150 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in February 2019, they were reviewed as 'Outstanding' inall areas.
