Eagle Plant are an Employee-Owned company.

We are looking for a part time (job share) credit controller.

Hours will be Wednesday PM, all day Thursday and Friday (around 21 hours a week)

We are a 30-depot plant hire company, with our administration centre based in Chard.

We are looking for someone to be jointly responsible for our credit control function.

This will include:
Speaking to both our depots and customers regarding sales ledger accounts.

Dealing with queries on sales invoices and sales ledger accounts.

Preparing a monthly stop list and updating through the month.

Preparing the court warning list and following up on the customers on the list, including agreeing and monitoring payment plans agreed with customers.

Where necessary filing online forms in respect of customers who have not paid to obtain county court judgements.

Liaising with bailiffs where county court judgements have been obtained.

Reviewing the customer list for credit limits and adjusting as required.

Agreeing and monitoring payment plans with customers.

Various other admin including ad hoc tasks as required.

The role will require working individually and taking responsibility for the ledger but will also include working closely with both other members of the admin team, and our depot staff.

Some experience of credit control would be helpful, but we are looking more for the person who can fit in with our ethos of the company - we have been a family run business and like to think of ourselves as firm but fair.

Being Employee Owned we do benefit from a tax-free profit share payment every 6 months (assuming sufficient profit is made by the company and after a 1 year qualifying period).
