Commercial Gas Engineer

Streatham

£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)


One of our brilliant clients who specialise in tailor made mechanical engineering services currently have an exciting opening for an experienced commercial heating engineer to join their well-established team.

They cover everything from small one-off projectsright up to multi-million-pound contracts, suppling high quality and efficient solutions to all their varied customers.


They were established in 1980 and became a limited company in 1990 and have since grown into one of the industry's best known and most respected companies in their competitive market.


This is a brilliant chance for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join a company that really invest into their employee's development.

This is a field-based role so a full UK driving license is essential as well as a commercial gas experience as youwill be traveling around London installing and maintaining large district heating systems.


Commercial Gas Engineer Key Duties:


  • Installing and replacing thermostatic mixer valves, pumps, radiators etc.
  • Repairing pipework and attending breakdowns.
  • Diagnosing faults related to LTHW, HWS, and CWS systems.
  • Completing compliance documentation to a high standard for each site.
  • Providing technical assistance to clients and manage HSE objectives.
  • Servicing Hydraulic Interface Units and reacting to breakdowns to ensure efficient running.
  • Mandatory out of hours call outs twice a month one week on one week off.

Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements:


  • You must have a full UK license for this role.
  • You must have a least a level 2 in plumbing & Heating.
  • You must be commercial gas qualified.
  • You must have at least 3 years industry experience to be considered.
  • You must have experience working with HUI's, LTHW, HWS, and CWS.
  • You will be happy working alone but also in a team.
  • You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
