Labourers

Position:

We are looking for enthusiastic hardworking and reliable team members to work on a top tier COMAH site based in Port Talbot, Wales.

The work will involve various labouring duties as instructed by your line manager to meet the demands of the business.

Specific site and job training including safety training will be provided to all successful applicants.

Please note that applicants should be prepared to work in hot, dusty and often trying conditions in a safe and efficient manner and with mínimal supervision.

Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime at short notice. A driving licence and own transport required.

Duties:

General site labouring and manual tasks
Comply to all Health and Safety regulations in accordance with company procedure
Opportunity to learn other skills, eg, bricklaying, ceramic welding etc

Experience required:

General Labour: 1 year

Experience of using power tools
Health and Safety compliance

Key personal skills required

Reliable and Trustworthy
Hardworking, Selfmotivated, Independent
Excellent work ethic, Flexible, 'can do' attitude
Willing to learn and improve
Dedication to task completion
Communicating with supervisors and peers
Performing general physical activities, inc handling and moving objects

Education:

Secondary education
Basic numeracy & literacy

Preferred, but not essential

Health and safety training
Experience on steel or construction sites (preferred)
Experience of bricklaying would be useful

Qualifications:

Passport to safety
CCNSG preferred

Other requirements:

Some overtime and weekend working will be required from time to time

Job Types:

Salary:
£11.13 per hour
