We are a small Building Company based in Bromley

We are looking for a full time operative that can help us with our maintenance, snagging and general handy man needs for the business.

Our work is usually based within a 45-minute radius of Bromley town centre, most of our projects cover the below projects:

Kitchen Installations
Bathroom Installations
Home renovations and extensions.
Commercials fit outs and washrooms.

The skills we looking for are:_

Good wall and floor tiling skills
Basic electrical knowledge
Good plumbing skills.
Must have good painting/decorating skills.
Must have some basic carpentry skills.
Silicone and mastic running skills should be high.
Bathroom & Kitchen fitting experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
Must have their own hand tools & cordless drill.
Must have full UK driving licence.
Must be fluent in both written & spoken English.
Be polite, presentable, and sociable with clients.
Be hard working, and most importantly reliable.
Be willing to work long days, 08:00 to 16:00 is normal.
Be able to provide references.

The job role includes the following:

Complete small areas of tiling, such as Kitchen splashbacks and tiling snagging work left behind from our fitters.
Complete small painting and decorating jobs, including snagging work left behind from our main decorators.
Basic carpentry including, fitting skirting, door furniture, coving, and architraves.
Problem solving and faultfinding issues with plumbing within Bathrooms/Kitchens.
Basic safe electrical understanding i.e. changes to switches/sockets and light fittings. (not essential)
Dealing with end clients and talking through snagging work and dealing with any problems after our main works have been completed.
Carrying out inspection at our sites to quality control check and certify work of our other team members. Maintaining our high work standards and customer service.
Collecting and delivering materials from our supplies to our sites.
Keep the van clean and tidy and up to date with compliance. You will be supplied with a van and fuel card.
Running errands for the company and completing any adhoc tasked requested.
Any other tasks that we feel are within your capabilities and suit the company need.

£29,000.00-£32,321.00 per year
