Unit Manager, Oakcroft Supported Accommodation unit - £30,000 (Mon-Fri 08.00am-05.00pm)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Unit Manager to join our supported accommodation setting based near Catford in South London.

Dinardo Care & Support operate a number of supported accommodation locations throughout South London and have been established for more than 20 years.

We support vulnerable adults with a range of support needs including drug and alcohol misuse, challenging behaviour, complex mental health and people who are homeless.

St Andrews offers a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable adults who have a needfor this level of support.

Providing a high-quality service, ensuring the personal goals and objectives of each of our residents are continually met is at the heart of everything we do.

Main Responsibilities:

As Unit Manager you would be reporting to the Operations Manager and leading a team at Oakcroft unit ensuring the business operates within the guidelines of our policies and procedures as well as Local Authority requirements.

About you:

Previous experience in a senior/management position within a supported accommodation setting
Good written skills in order to produce accurate, factual reports
Proficient IT skills
Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to undergo training to enhance your own personal development and your team's.
Able to set priorities and boundaries
Have an understanding of and be proactive in promoting equal opportunities at all times and be able to challenge discrimination at all levels.
Be empathic and understanding to the needs of residents at all times
Knowledge of adult safeguarding protocols and protection of vulnerable adults.
Understanding of mental health conditions, complex needs and substance misuse
