    Civil/Structural Engineer Opportunity with a Global Leader

    Are you an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer seeking a challenging role in the nuclear sector? We have exciting vacancies available for Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to work on innovative projects across various sectors, including Decommissioning, Nuclear New Build, Defence, and Advanced technologies.

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for highly skilled engineers to deliver high-profile projects, working closely with integrated multi-disciplinary teams. As a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project delivery, people management of Senior CS&A Engineers and CS&A Engineers, and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of projects, including concept and feasibility studies, analysis and design using engineering software, and preparation of calculations and technical reports.
    • People Management: Lead and manage Senior CS&A Engineers and CS&A Engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.

    The Setting for the Role

    This role involves working on a nuclear licensed site, which may involve exposure to risks and hazards such as nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high-pressure circuits, steam, high noise, and vibration levels.
