Personal Assistant with Child Minding Responsibilities


Are you an experienced and highly competent Personal Assistant seeking a unique and fulfilling role? Look no further We are a prestigious Neurodiversity Specialist Clinic based in Surrey, and we are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Assistant to support our Director in both professional and personal capacities.

This exciting opportunity involves a blend of executive assistance and child minding responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support:

  • Organize and manage the Director's busy schedule, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with project coordination, research, and documentation as required.
  • Liaise with the administration team and other employees to ensure smooth operations.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritise the Director's schedule, appointments, and meetings.
  • Assist with businessrelated tasks, including communication with employees and the administration team.
  • Provide childcare support, including school dropoffs and collections, afterschool club transportation, and childcare in the Director's absence.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children, taking into account their specific needs and conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Director to maintain a seamless worklife balance.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of neurodiverse conditions and tailor childcare strategies accordingly.
  • Occasionally work remotely while also being available at the Director's home address and the clinic's location2.

Child Minding and Care:

  • Provide care and support for a child with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, demonstrating awareness, sensitivity, and patience.
  • Assist in coordinating events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Engage children in stimulating and educational activities, fostering their growth and development.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment, demonstrating an understanding of neurodiverse conditions and maintaining sensitivity to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the Director and family to ensure a seamless balance between child care and work responsibilities.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage occasional remote work and work from different locations.
  • Facilitate remote and inperson communication between the Director and team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, showcasing excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Awareness and sensitivity towards neurodiverse conditions, particularly ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Valid UK driving license with the ability to commute to Coulsdon, Surrey, and perform school dropoffs and pickups.
  • Relevant child minding qualifications and experience essential. Full disclosure and Barring Service clearance (checks will be undertaken and references requested).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
